The King Power Group has been a major supporter of the sport locally and internationally, having founded the association and sending Thai athletes to compete throughout the world. Vichai’s sons Apichet and Ayavat Srivaddhanaprabha have led the teams, bringing victory and acclaim back home and gaining recognition for Thailand as worthy contenders of the sport.
In addition to supporting the promotion and education of horse polo locally, the Association also regularly sends the Thai National Polo team to gain experience by competing internationally, in competitions such as:
- The Chakravarty Cup, UK
- The Cartier Cup, Dubai (UAE)
- The Queens Cup, UK
- Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup for the British Open, UK
The association has also hosted major Polo competitions (insert a link with details below)
